The Hubal field pea (Pisum sativum) belongs to the most productive and reliable fodder varieties that are currently available on the market. It produces medium tall, circa 85 cm, densely leaved plants that bloom circa 60 days after the sow and acquire the crop maturity after 100 days of cultivation. The high productivity and disease resistance are the next advantages of the presented cultivar. The Hubal field pea shows low vulnerability to the pathogens that cause powdery mildew, fusarium wilt and leaf-and-pod spot disease.

The Hubal field pea is perfectly suited for an aftercrop and as component of cereal mixtures intended for the main crop. The variety presented here has high nutritional value thanks to the high protein content. It also constitutes a valuable green manure, because it supplies the soil with easily available nitrogen. Its soil requirements are rather low - it will grow well both in fertile and lesser soils.

Each package contains 1 kg of seeds of the Hubal field pea. The growing instructions and the sow-by date were printed on the back of the package.
