The Fragrant Blue hosta is a low growing variety whose small leaves take on an unusual light blue colour. Dense, compact tufts of fleshy cordate foliage grown up to 20 centimetres tall and 30 centimetres wide. Long stalks on which beautiful flowers hang appear over the silvery-blue foliage in summer, from June to July. Flower buds start lavender blue and turn almost clean white after they unfold.
