Fringed tulip selection - Fringed mix should immediately win followers among people who like to surround themselves with colours and intriguingly shaped flowers. Large, cup-shaped blooms of this group are decorated with tiny, needle-shaped nodules on petal edges. It looks like a frilled trimming of a tablecloth. Tulips of the offered selection come in many different colours. They can be either single coloured or bicolour. Plant height may also vary slightly, between forty and sixty centimetres. Those unusually shaped tulips constitute a fresh, intriguing choice for decorating flower beds, building walls, lawns, borders, and places of relaxation. They are great cut flowers. Bouquets and bowl compositions of fringed tulips will always attract attention.
The cultivation requirements of fringed tulips do not differ from those of their relatives of other tulip divisions. Find a bright, sunny, or semi-shaded places. Avoid sites in the shadows, where tulips bloom very poorly. Bulbs of fringed tulips must be planted in autumn. Only those plants who have taken root and been cooled during the winter will produce lush flowers. The appropriate soil is also of great importance. It must be well-drained and weeded. Heavier, compact soils should be loosened with sand. Water and weed your fringed tulip cultures regularly, especially during the flower development time.
One package contains five bulbs of the fringed tulip selection, sized 11/12 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
