The Golden Salome daffodil (Narcissus) is a fantastic new colour variety of the well-known and beloved Salome, the exceptionally beautiful large-cupped daffodil. Unlike the original, the new version has golden-yellow cup and pastel yellow petals. Its flowers are large, reaching over eight centimetres in diameter. The over-average size of the cup, which looks like a long, wide trumpet, immediately attracts attention. At the peak of the flowering period in April and May, the Golden Salome daffodil grows up to forty centimetres tall.

Presented variety, available here in our garden store, is a sure shot if youare looking for frost-resistant, undemanding perennials that naturalize in the garden. Bulbs of the Golden Salome daffodil should be planted in autumn in fresh, well-drained, and moderately moist soil. The site can be sunny or partially shaded. Our slender, large-cupped narcissus deserves the central point on a spring flower bed. It will also look beautiful on a wide border along a path or in a free group near the edge of a lawn, close to a perennial group, and a pond. We recommend combining it with single tulips from the Triumph group, fringed, and lily-flowered tulips, as well as other varieties of large-flowered daffodils, e.g. Apotheose, Dick Wilden, Flower Drift, Golden Harvest, Unsurpassable and, of course, the classic Salome.
