Grape Ice grape hyacinth is a bulb plant that produces small, spherical flowers gathered in showy clusters. The variety offered here belongs to garden rarities thanks to the unusual, bicolour flowers with an ombré effect! Shifting from pure white to deep navy blue, they give our grape hyacinth a truly unique look. Flowers sit densely packed on twenty-centimetres tall stalks that grow surrounded by grassy leaves. These low growing plants offer one of the most intriguing solutions of the naturalization of the garden. This species develops easily and stays healthy, does not need much of a gardener's attention, and propagates rapidly. Long and abundant flowering also belongs to assets that these tiny flowers bring to the garden. Do not forget, though, that you can also successfully grow grape hyacinth in pots. A subtle, sweet scent of Grape Ice flowers constitutes an additional advantage. A bouquet of grape hyacinths will adorn your house for up to a week.

Plant small grape hyacinth bulbs autumn, from end of September to November, at sunny and semi-shaded places. The optimal planting depth is about eight centimetres, and the bulbs should be planted five to eight centimetres apart. A permeable and fertile earth suits them best. Abundant watering during the period of the most intensive growth positively affects germination and growth of grape hyacinths that are very easy to grow. They come back every year to please your senses with a refreshing colour, intricate form, and sweet scent.

We offer three-piece packages of Grape Ice grape hyacinth bulbs. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the packaging label.
