Properties
Regular use of the fertiliser promotes harmonious growth of vines throughout the entire growing season. The shrubs respond clearly to feeding, producing stronger growth and better-developed fruit with higher flavour value. The composition has been developed to slightly lower the soil pH and improve the availability of micronutrients in the growing medium. The presence of natural minerals makes the product more environmentally friendly, and the absence of nitrates supports fertilisation of fruit crops.
Composition
EC fertiliser NPK (MgO + SO3) 12.5-8.5-17.0 (2.5 + 32.0) with boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc: 12.5% (N) total nitrogen; 2.0% (N) nitrate nitrogen; 10.5% (N) ammonium nitrogen; 8.5% (P2O5) phosphorus pentoxide soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water; 5.5% (P2O5) phosphorus pentoxide soluble in water; 17.0% (K2O) water-soluble potassium oxide; 2.5% (MgO) total magnesium oxide; 32.0% (SO3) total sulphur trioxide; 0.025% (B) total boron; 0.1% (Cu) total copper; 0.17% (Fe) total iron; 0.1% (Mn) total manganese; 0.005% (Mo) total molybdenum; 0.1% (Zn) total zinc.
Application and feeding period
The product is intended for fertilisation both before planting and as top dressing in subsequent years of vine cultivation. Application starts in March and can be continued until August. In the first year after planting, the shrubs are fed twice - in spring after uncovering and about 10 days before the expected flowering. In the following years, the same fertilisation dates are maintained, increasing the doses accordingly to the age of the plants.
Dosage
When preparing the site for planting, use 1-1.5 kg of fertiliser per 10 m2. In the first year of vine cultivation, apply 45 g of fertiliser per plant each time, while in the following years the dose is increased to 60 g per shrub. A 1 kg pack is enough to fertilise about 20 plants.
Directions for use
Spread the fertiliser evenly around the plants and, where possible, mix it with the soil, then water thoroughly. The product can also be used to feed berry shrubs such as raspberries, currants, gooseberries and chokeberry. When planting these plants, use 10 g of fertiliser mixed with 10 litres of soil from the planting hole, and in the following years spread 25 g and 50 g respectively under the plant canopy. One tablespoon contains an average of 10 g of fertiliser.
