Soil acidifying fertiliser - Biopon - 1 kg

This Biopon soil acidifying fertiliser is intended for use when growing acid-loving plants, where the pH of the growing medium needs to be lowered and stabilised. It is suitable for rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas, heathers, blueberries and conifers that require acidic soil for healthy growth. It can be used as an intervention measure or preventively during the growing season. The fertiliser may be mixed into the growing medium, applied by sprinkling over the soil surface, or dissolved in water for watering.

Simple solid inorganic macronutrient fertiliser.

Total nitrogen (N) 20.8%, including 20.8% ammoniacal nitrogen.

Water-soluble sulphur trioxide (SO₃) 60.5% (= 24.2% S).

Application and feeding period

Use the product from April to August. When planting or repotting, the fertiliser may be added directly to the growing medium. For established plants, apply by sprinkling over the soil surface no more often than once every 3 months, or use as a watering solution, depending on the plant species.

Rhododendrons, conifers, hydrangeas, heathers, rhododendrons - as an addition to the growing medium: 10-12 g per 10 litres of growing medium.

Rhododendrons, conifers, hydrangeas, heathers, rhododendrons - surface application: 100-120 g/m² - no more often than once every 3 months.

Rhododendrons, azaleas, blueberries - watering: 10 g per 10 litres of water every 2-3 weeks.

Conifers, heathers, hydrangeas - watering: 5-10 g per 10 litres of water once a month.

Directions for use

Distribute the measured dose evenly around the plant and mix it into the top layer of soil, then water to activate the ingredients. When applying by watering, dissolve the fertiliser in water beforehand. Do not exceed the recommended doses.
