Hydrogel is a product that protects plants from water shortages. Tiny hydrogel crystals have enormous water storing potential. They increase there volume several times when storing water. Fertilizers are stored with the water. They are constantly available for the plants and do not get washed away in the deeper soil layers. Thanks to the optimal growing conditions the roots are stimulated to develop and absorb more nutrients. The plants are supplied with optimal water and nutrient amount and have more vigour to grow abundantly.

Hydrogel operates in a simple way. The particles of the synthetic hydrogel start to swell in contact with water. During drought periods the water is released from the gel-like hydrogel. 95% of the stored water is available for the plants. The swelling and water releasing cycle repeats many times during a season. Hydrogel is relatively durable. It remains active in the soil for circa 5 years. After that time it is subject to biodegradation.

Hydrogel is exceptionally easy and convenient to use. You may add it directly to the soil or dissolve in water and use for coating roots. Hydrogel is recommended for all plant cultures. It proves to be exceptionally useful for garden plants, trees, shrubs, flowers and lawns. It will also support plants grown in pots and balcony boxes. It also provides excellent protection from drying out during transportation of plants.

Hydrogel is exceptionally efficient. In soil application a dose of 1 kg per 1 m3 of soil is recommended. Use 1 g of the product per 1 litre of soil in pot cultures. Apply 5 g of dry hydrogel per each 0.5 m of height of the already growing shrubs. Other plants require 150-400 g per 1 m2. Hydrogel needs to be ploughed in 25 cm deep underground in case of soil application. 1-2 kg of the product should be dissolved in 200 litres of water for the effective root coating.
