The Lawn seed mix - multi-purpose lawn seed from Planta, here offered in 0.9 kg packages, is a selection of varieties of two grasses that are widely considered the best for usable and ornamental lawns: perennial ryegrass and red fescue. It consists of: perennial ryegrass, Italian rye-grass and Westerwold ryegrass with a loose, tuft-like habit, excellent vigour and exceptional resistance to treading and frequent mowing, as well as the slower growing red fescue, sheep fescue and tall fescue, that are resistant to frost, drought and tend to spread broadly. The lawn composed of the above mentioned grass species would be long-lived and easy to care for. It handles unfavourable weather conditions, particularly drought, exceptionally well. The grasses offered here develop deep, broad root systems to which them own their surprising regeneration capabilities. Thanks to their broad habit, no empty spots will be left. Smooth, fresh green turf without weeds, dried spots nor moss can be now easily achieved.

The presented lawn seed selection is perfectly suited for home garden lawns, both the ornamental ones and the heavily frequented greens. You may also sow it in orchards, parks and on city squares, both at open, sunny and partially shady sites.
