The popular lilies are bulbous plants, whose main advantage and often the reason to grow them in the first place are magnificent, beautifully scented, colourful flowers. Their charm and uniqueness are the reasons why the lily is often used as decoration. The Empoli variety stands out from its relatives with unusual colouring: its pink flowers have a green-yellow calyx tubes. The mature plant grows about 120 cm. Lilies are accompanied by a characteristic, pleasant smell that can be sensed in their vicinity. These plants require a nutrient rich soil with a subtly acidic pH in order to develop properly.
