The November Rain lily belongs to the attractive AOA hybrids. This new breed of lilies combines the best visual features of oriental lilies with the excellent durability of Asiatic varieties. November Rain has inherited all those qualities. It is a sturdy plant that is winter hardy and produces large, broadly unfolding flowers that excrete a subtle scent. The magnificent deep wine red colour spread over the flowers of this lily is a true rarity. The petals are covered with tiny spots in the central parts what only accentuates the oriental character of the flower. This incredible plant is recommended for cultivation in garden, in planters, and for cut flower. 120 to 150 centimetres tall plants provide a great solution for flower bed background and more exposed spots where lower plants cover lower part of the stem.

We recommend preparing a site for planting lilies at least two weeks earlier. The soil will have time to rest and distributing bulbs in it would be much easier. The site should be weeded and thoroughly tilled and enriched with fermented compost. Plant the bulbs in holes that are 10 to 15 centimetres deep. The distance between individual plants should be relatively large, 30 to 50 centimetres on average. Cover the bulbs with soil and water the spot. Lilies are flowers of the sun, but can grow in partial shade too. Do not forget to feed lilies regularly with complex fertilizers and water them frequently.
