Long-lasting fertiliser for roses - Compo - 850 g meets the needs of hybrid, bedding and shrub roses, as well as many flowering shrubs that need a stable supply of nutrients throughout the season. Its granulated form with two-stage nutrient release supports plants from the first few days after application and then maintains their nourishment for many months. It is a good choice for plantings where long and abundant flowering matters, as well as convenient care throughout the season.
Part of the granules works immediately after watering, so the plants quickly receive the ingredients needed to begin vigorous growth. The remaining fraction releases them gradually under the influence of heat and water, which allows for even nourishment for up to 6 months. As a result, the long-lasting fertiliser for roses supports root system development, encourages abundant and long-lasting flowering, and helps strengthen plant resistance to disease, pests and temporary water shortages.
Fertiliser NPK (+CaO+MgO+SO3) 15-8-10.5 (+6.7+4.5+15.8), fertiliser containing micronutrients.
The long-lasting fertiliser for roses is recommended for all rose varieties and flowering shrubs such as peonies, magnolias, hydrangeas, jasmine, viburnum, forsythia, laburnum, spiraea, plum, quince, lavender, clematis and hibiscus, as well as climbing and trailing shrubs. The fertilisation period covers the time from March to May. One application is enough for the whole season, which is why this solution is suitable both for new plantings and for plants already growing in gardens.
New spring plantings require a dose of 40 g/m2 applied in March or April. For new autumn plantings, the recommended amount is 60 g/m2 and it should be applied to the soil in spring of the following year. For plants already growing, the dose should be adjusted to the size of the specimens: small plants 60 g/m2 in spring, large plants 80 g/m2 in spring.
Before use, measure out the appropriate amount of fertiliser using the included scoop with several levels. For new plantings, the granules are mixed with the soil intended for planting. Around plants already growing, the fertiliser is spread and mixed into the top layer of the growing medium, or placed in several holes made near the plant, remembering to cover the granules completely with soil. After the treatment, the plants should be watered thoroughly to activate the release of nutrients.
The pack contains 850 g of granulated fertiliser, which is enough for about 11 m2 of surface area. The long-lasting fertiliser for roses helps maintain a steady supply of nutrients throughout the season and supports abundant flowering, so it is worth including it in spring care for roses and flowering shrubs.
