The Louvre hyacinth produces beautiful white flowers. Its erect, lush clusters of flowers develop on strong, fleshy stems from April to May. They excrete a rather strong, pleasant aroma, and delight with their richness. Hundreds of star-shaped flowers that densely coat the stem give the plants a fluffy appearance. Flower stalks that shoot from a rosette of bright green leaves do not grow taller than thirty centimetres. Compact size allows you to plant hyacinth in a rock garden, borders, and in pots. Seductive, fragrant flowers make a great figure on a flower bed, in a planter at home entrance, and in spring bouquets. The magnificent, classic Louvre variety is a spectacular plant that blooms reliably every year.
Choose sunny places for growing hyacinths, even though they can cope with partial shade too. Enrich the soil with a dab of compost or other organic fertilizer before planting. Make sure that the soil in which you intend to plant large spherical bulbs is light, well-drained, and rich in humus. Put them about fifteen centimetres deep and twelve to fifteen centimetres apart. Cover hyacinth sites with leaves, twigs, or peat before the winter. In the spring, before the start of vegetation, slightly loosen and weed the soil. maintenance is limited to fertilization and watering during periods of drought.
One package contains three bulbs of the Louvre hyacinth. Basic plant information and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
