The low growing Greigii pink tulip is a true border gem. It grows rather low, reaching 15 - 30 cm of height only, but it stands out with large, brightly coloured single flowers. The variety offered here produces flower buds in April, hence it belongs to the early blooming cultivars. It perfectly fits into rock gardens, lawns - particularly grown in large groupings - and onto border edgings. You may also naturalize it at the flower bed edges.
Bulbs of the Greig's tulips should be planted in summer and autumn onto highly permeable soils. The perennial offered here prefers fertile soils rich in humus, yet it would also succeed on lesser soils. Low growing tulips may be grown on sunny and partially shady sites, as well as in boxes, bowls and pots. These tulips look great in company of hyacinths, grape hyacinths, snake's heads and narcissi. We also recommend to try the colourful compositions with other low growing Greig's tulips and the wild tulips, such as "Cynthia", "Eastern Star", "Little Beauty" or "Tarda".
One package contains 50 bulbs of the low-growing Greigii pink tulip, sized 11/12 cm. The basic plant growing instructions have been printed on the package.
