This natural fertiliser from Substral is intended for feeding plants in the vegetable garden where the aim is a more abundant harvest and steady nutrition over a longer period. The granules can be used for many crops, including tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, courgettes and lettuce, as well as fruit plantings such as strawberries, raspberries, fruit trees and fruit bushes. It is a practical choice when you want to combine a natural composition with less frequent repeat application.
The natural vegetable fertiliser feeds plants for up to 3 months, helping to maintain even growth during an important part of the season. The addition of the organic mineral zeolite supports the retention of water and nutrients in the soil, improving their availability in the root zone. The formula is based on plant-derived ingredients and natural minerals, contains no substances of animal origin, and is described by the manufacturer as suitable for use in organic farming.
Organic-mineral NPK fertiliser 4-2.5-6 with MgO (2).
Total nitrogen (N) 4%, including 4% of plant origin from beet vinasse obtained by fermentation, distillation and concentration; total phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) 2.5%; potassium oxide (K2O) 6%, fully water-soluble; magnesium oxide (MgO) 2%, water-soluble.
Natural fertiliser for all vegetables is used from February to September, with the dose adjusted to the cultivation method and the plants’ needs. It can be applied when sowing or planting in the vegetable garden, as well as in fruit crops, including strawberries, fruit trees and fruit bushes. In practice, it is suitable across the vegetable garden where natural feeding and better use of water and nutrients in the soil are desired.
When sowing, apply 50 g/m². For vegetable crops with low nutrient requirements, such as lettuce, radish, beans and onions, use 50-75 g/m² at planting and 75-100 g/m² after harvest. For vegetables with medium nutrient requirements, such as spinach, leek, carrot and potatoes, apply 75-100 g/m² at planting and 100-125 g/m² after harvest. For crops with high nutrient requirements, such as broccoli, cabbage, courgettes and tomatoes, use 100-125 g/m² at planting and 125-150 g/m² after harvest. For strawberries, the recommended dose is 75-100 g/m² at planting and 125 g/m² after harvest. For fruit bushes and fruit trees, apply 75-150 g per plant at planting and 100-175 g per plant after harvest.
Scatter the granules evenly over the soil surface at the sowing site or around plants, then mix them into the top layer of the growing medium. Because the zeolite in the composition supports water and nutrient retention, it is worth distributing the fertiliser evenly in the root zone. Avoid applying it to dry soil so that the nutrients can be used properly by the plants.
The pack contains 1.2 kg of granules. Natural vegetable fertiliser provides long-lasting nutrition for up to 3 months and supports more abundant harvests, making it useful for seasonal care of vegetable gardens and fruit plantings.
