Onion "Wenta" (Allium cepa) belongs to the most productive varieties and strikes with its delicious, tender taste. Its large, roundly-conical bulbs are covered with dry, vividly red-coloured scale. Juicy, firm flesh takes on purple-white colouring. Crops harvested from cultivation of this variety should be consumed directly - raw, grilled - and used for garnishing dishes. They can also be stored long-term.

Seeds of the red "Wenta" onion are sown in spring directly or onto a hotbed. You should take care of the appropriate compactness and fertility of the soil, particularly in case of the direct sowing. The soil should be moderately moist, yet not too heavy, nor waterlogged. Large, well-developed bulbs that are rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene and other necessary vitamins and minerals are harvested medium late - in August and September.

Each package contains 6 gof "Wenta" onion seeds. Package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
