Oxeye, also known as False Sunflower, is a perennial plant that grows 30 to 50 centimetres in height. It takes a form of a shrub and produces thin shoots with lovely yellow inflorescences at their top. The flowers attract bees and butterflies. Fairly little demanding in cultivation, Oxeye is a rampant plant, which is ideal for perennial beds and rockeries. It is also an excellent choice for a cut flower.

Growing: sow the seeds under cover or in a seedbed from April to May. The plants require moist, preferably alkaline soils. This variety grows best in sunny or semi-shaded positions.
