White Cape Daisy, also known as African Daisy, is an annual plant that grows 30 to 40 centimetres in height. It produces beautiful white flowers with several white petals flanking its lovely purple centre. This variety is recommended to be grown in basins, pots, planters, or borders. Though, if you want to display White Cape Daisy in a truly outstanding way, your best bet is to grow it in rockeries or in rock gardens. It can also be cultivated with different plant families, for instance with cosmidium.
Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes or in pallet planters from March to early April. The seeds germinate in 10 to 14 days at 18-24°C. Plant out into a permanent position in 20-30cm spacings in the second half of May. To make the plants grow densely, pluck them above the fifth or sixth leaf. Grow the plants in fairly moist fertile soils in sunny positions.
