The Cup Flower is an annual plant with half a metre long hanging or reclining shoots and light-violet or white bell-shaped flowers. It flowers in the period from June to the autumn and grows 15 to 30 centimetres in height. The Cup Flower is a perfect plant to grow in hanging baskets, balcony planters as well as in rockeries.
Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes from March to April. Lightly press the seeds into the soil using a small board – do not cover them with soil. The seeds germinate in 2 weeks at 20-22oC. Plant out into a permanent position in mid-May.
