This is a mix of several Palm varieties; they produce fan-shaped or feathery foliage, which is very characteristic of this family of plants. The Palms flower occasionally, and when they do, they grow white, creamy or yellow flowers in the paniculate inflorescences. In temperate climates, it is recommended to grow Palms indoors in larger pots. The plants are a wonderful exotic decoration.
Growing: sow the seeds into moist permeable soils at a temperature of around 19-20ºC. Place the seeds as to cover them entirely. The larger ones only need to be pressed into the soil ever so slightly. The seeds germinate in two weeks to several months. The seedlings grow best in medium moist semi-shaded positions.
