Alstroemeria Marguerite reaches a height of 55-65 cm and graces us with its blossoms from June until the end of the season, with the majority appearing in July. This variety showcases golden-yellow flowers with wine-red streaks, accented by dark lines. Alstroemeria is not only a stunning garden plant but also a wonderful addition to a vase. Exotic alstroemeria thrives in partial sun and partial shade. It requires moderately moist, well-draining, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil. Rhizomes should be planted in containers during March-April. Alstroemeria can be placed outdoors only after the last frost in May. Originating from South America, Alstroemeria is sensitive to cold temperatures. While it can survive the winter in the ground under thick cover, it's much better to transfer it to a well-lit, cool room with an optimal temperature of around 10⁰C.
