Pink gypsophila bears masses of very small flowers that densely cover its thin, strongly branched stems. The whole clump has a light, airy, see-through look, so it does not overwhelm other plants in the border. Its pale pink colour is very delicate and stands out well against the narrow green leaves. This plant spreads quite vigorously to the sides and fills empty spaces between larger perennials. It flowers for much of the summer and is excellent for cutting, as it stays fresh in a vase for a long time. It is a good choice if you want to bring a little lightness to the garden without complicated care.
