The Purissima tulip is an elegant variety of the Fosteriana group. This low-growing plant does not grow taller than 30 to 40 centimetres. Its creamy white flowers adorn the garden in spring, usually in April. They sit on strong stems that predestine tulips to grow both on a flower bed and border, as well as in larger groups in cities. Flowers surrounded by dark green leaves look spectacular in pots in boxes too. You can use those planters to decorate a balcony or home entrance. The colour of the presented variety allows to use it in many arrangements without making it too splashy or exaggerated. Noble Purissima tulips supply terrific material for florists who create bouquets and bowl decorations out of them.

Tulips belong to easy-to-grow, undemanding plants that do not require much effort. Plant bulbs of the presented species in autumn only. Light, sandy-loam, permeable soil offers best conditions for tulips, as does a sunny site. We recommend to top wilted flowers. Let the leaves dry out naturally, so they can properly feed bulbs before the next season. At that time, you can also enrich the soil with a potassium fertilizer what should stimulate plants to flower abundantly next year.

We hereby offer 5-bulb packages of the Purissima tulip. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the packaging label.
