Purple Mullein is a biennial plant that grows 60 to 100 centimetres in height with mossy shoots and leaves. Its flowers create attractive long spikes that have a great decorative potential. Blooming from June to August a year after the seeds have been sown, Purple Mullein is suitable for perennial beds and groupings.

Growing: sow the seeds from May to June directly into the soil; this variety does not tolerate transplanting. Grow the plants in 40x50cm spacings in sunny positions. Each gram contains 7000 to 8000 seeds.
