The Red Dress tulip is an extraordinary variety intended both for the garden and cut flower. Its elaborately folded, carmine-red flowers enchant with a unique charm. Red Dress tulips, intricately ornamental, yet noble and elegant, are a real treat for gardeners looking for a novelty to introduce on their flower beds and borders. This phenomenal tulip reaches a compact size of forty to forty-five centimetres. This allows for its wide use, whether in the ground or in pots. As a beautiful cut flower it offers a surprising, yet worthy alternative for the conventional roses. A wide row of tulips along a path or fence adds colour and delightful structure to the surroundings.

Plant tulip bulbs in well-cultivated, carefully prepared soil. The permeability of the substrate is key, since tulip bulbs cannot tolerate excessive moisture. Fertile, medium compact soil guarantees best results. Planting must take place in the fall, otherwise the plants fail to bloom in spring. Adjust planting depth to the size of the bulbs and the structure of the soil. As a rule of thumb, tulips should be planted ten to fifteen centimetres deep. Transplant them to a new site every three to four years.

One package contains five bulbs of the Red Dress tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
