"Buffalosteak F1" tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) is a universal variety that is suited for cultivation under covers and in the field. Resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and verticilium wilt belongs to the advantages of this cultivar that is considered one of the earlier ones and yields very rich harvest. It produces large, ox-heart-type, slightly flattened and visibly ribbed fruit whose weight reaches 180 g. Delicious, aromatic and fleshy fruit of the "Buffalosteak F1" variety should be consumed raw, right after picking.
Tomato is a thermophilic plant and therefore its seeds may only be sown onto the field in May, after the risk of frosts has passed. "Buffalosteak F1" tomato grows best, however, from seedlings prepared already in January in a heated room. Transplant seedlings to the ground no earlier than in the second half of May. Place the plants in 50 x 60 cm spacings. The harvest of large, ripe berries takes place from July to October. The best crops grow on sandy-clay, permeable, moderately moist soils that are rich in nutrients. The best, most appetizing fruit will grow on sunny and warm sites.
Each package contains 10 seeds of the tall "Buffalosteak F1" tomato intended for cultivation in the field and under covers. Growing instructions and the sow-by date are included in the package information.
