True Blue Daisy, also called Kingfisher Daisy, is an annual plant which grows 20 to 30 centimetres in height, featuring heavily branched shoots that produce azure blue flowers that are very typical for this daisy variety. True Blue Daisy, which can be used as a plant following forget-me-nots after they have stopped flowering, looks exceptionally beautiful in small flower beds or planters.
Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes, pallet planters or under cover in April or directly into the soil in early May. The seeds germinate in 2 to 3 weeks at 20°C. Plant out into a permanent position in 20-30cm spacings. Crop the young seedlings in order to promote flowering. This variety grows best in medium fertile permeable soils in sunny positions.
