The 'Apricot Impression' is a tulip variety in which you can fall in love at first sight. Its slender salmon pink cup-shaped flowers look stunning both on the flower beds and in vases. The variety that we offer here grows 50 to 55 centimetres tall on average and belongs the popular, easy-to-grow, long blooming and sturdy Darvin hybrids. It bears single, exceptionally large and regularly shaped flowers. They can be adorned at the end of April and the beginning of May.

Bulbs of the 'Apricot Impression' tulip should be planted on a sunny site in a verticulated soil that is rich in humus. We recommend to use gravel as a drainage layer when planting tulips in heavy and loamy soil. Tulips will bloom healthy and abundantly in such a soil for several seasons in the soil prepared the above described way. Due to their large size and unique pastel colour of its blooms, the variety offered here harmonizes well with the lower growing, brightly coloured single tulips, such as Candy Corner, Cape Cod, Mickey Mouse, Mini Star, Negrete, Passionale, as well as double varieties: Allegretto, Beauty of Apeldoorn, Up Star, Sundowner. We also recommend to plant it in loose arrangements with late daffodils, hyacinths and fritillaries.
