The Royal Ten tulip is a charming variety of the Triumph group. Its tall stems that end with exceptionally large elegant flower heads are typical for this group of varieties. This variety produces bicolour flowers that gradually change from light to dark pink, with a white or greenish touches at the base and edges of the cup. They look great not only in the ground but in sturdy bouquets too. A group of tall, colourful tulips incorporated into its surroundings is a great sight in spring when nature lacks fresh bright colours. The single late flowering Royal Ten tulip is perfectly suited for planting on flower beds and lawns. Presented variety is a great companion for other Triumph tulips and perennials with unusual leaf colours. Royal Ten is a universal plant that grows 40 to 60 centimetres tall on average. Its marvellous flowers unfold in large numbers at the end of April and at the beginning of May.

Colourful tulip patches develop best in the sun. Tulip, as species, is relatively easy to grow and therefore the right plant for garden beginners. Tulip bulbs thrive in a fertile, loose soil. Heavy soils need to be loosened by an admixture of compost or peat. We also recommend using drainage in form of a layer of sand in every planting hole. The bulbs should be put 12 to 15 centimetres deep into the ground, depending on the bulb size. We recommend using plastic baskets in group plantings - it speeds up the process and facilitates transplanting.
