The 'Tres Chic' tulip and its snow-white lily-shaped flowers are the perfect choice for a colourful rustic garden and a minimalistic flower bed. The variety that we offer here in our garden store blooms at the end of April or the beginning of May. This slender tulip grows up to 45 centimetres tall and bears a single, elegantly shaped flower. The tear-shaped petals have pointed tips that gently bent outwards. The subdued colouring of the 'Tres Chic' tulip provides you with diverse arrangement options. The clean white lily-shaped flowers of the presented variety ideally fit into contrasting compositions with medium late red, black and purple tulips. They will also wonderfully complement any given pastel-coloured set. Lovers of harmonizing decorations should combine it with the 'Beautytrend', 'Lemon Chiffon', 'Peggy Wonder', 'Salmon Van Eijk', 'Sweet Flag' and 'Violet Prana' tulips.
The bulbs of the 'Tres Chic' tulip can be planted in any given permeable and fertile soil. They will grow healthy and develop well in every loose, light soil. The site should be open and sunny, partial shade will not negatively influence this variety. White lily-shaped tulips fully expose their ornamental features in groups of at least half-a-dozen plants. They look great combined with other tulips, as well as daffodils, colourful hyacinths and blue grape hyacinths. We also recommend to cut them and present in vases. You can also create a stylish wedding bouquet out of them.
