The large-flowered crocus fits into every garden. Its vividly coloured flowers that herald the coming of the spring belong to gardeners' favourites all over the world. Crocuses can be used in many ways. You can plant them in rock gardens, on borders, flower beds, in planters and pots on a balcony. Larger patches of crocuses look great under trees and on lawns. Colourful crocuses immediately introduce a spring vibe to the garden, particularly when planted in larger groups. Those eye-catching plants offer first food for bees and bumblebees who wake up after the winter.

Plant crocus bulbs in autumn in a permeable, humous, sufficiently moist soil, five to seven centimetres deep, depending on the size of each bulb. We recommend to plant them ten to fifteen centimetres apart. You do not have to dig out crocus bulbs after each season, do so only every three to four years after the flowering period, when the leaves haven't dried completely. Stored dried and cleaned bulbs in well ventilated rooms in temperature between 15 and 17⁰C. Plant them again in autumn after the dormancy stage is over. We recommend to cover the crocus site with a think layer of mulch or tree bark before the winter. Plants that are properly secured from frost will bloom earlier in spring.

Each package contains 10 bulbs of the yellow large-flowered crocus. Essential plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
