The Alpha gladiolus and its lavender-pink flowers lined up in long ears delight with noble beauty. Light flowers that sit on tall and strong stems are one of the more attractive sights that you can encounter in garden in summer. Erect shots covered with lush clasping leaves reach over one metre of height. You can achieve the most stunning visual effect by planting gladioli in larger groups that create a bright colour spot. Beautiful gladioli are always welcomed on tall borders. They allow to create highly ornamental centres of other compositions too.

Gladioli thrive on sunny and warm situations. Their tall stems with heavy flowers should not be exposed to strong winds. If you plant them on a windy spot, we highly recommend staking them.  They prefer permeable, properly fertilized, and moderately moist soil. Gladioli corm should be planted after mid-April, eight to twelve centimetres deep and fifteen centimetres apart. This species is hot hardy. You must tig out the bulbs at the beginning of autumn. It should take place four weeks after the flowering has ended. Cut the stems off the excavated bulbs and dry them in the sun or in an airy room. Clean the corms and store them until next season. The gladioli storage place should be cool and well ventilated.

One package contains 5 gladioli corms sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant growing guidelines were printed on the package label.
