Ranunculus is a multicoloured mix with flowers in shades of yellow, red, white, orange, pink and blue. Their many delicate petals form distinctive, double, almost spherical flower heads. The intense colours stand out beautifully against the green leaves. This plant works well both in traditional flower beds and in pots on the balcony. Ranunculus is also excellent as a cut flower, making a very long-lasting addition to home bouquets.
Plant the tubers in spring, from April to May, or in autumn, from September to October.
The recommended planting depth is about 5 cm.
Plant 15 cm apart.
Ranunculus grows to 30-35 cm.
Flowers from June to August.
Ranunculus is not frost-hardy, so the tubers should be lifted in autumn and stored in a dry, cool place.
Ranunculus performs well in flower beds, group plantings and containers on balconies and terraces. Thanks to the intense flower colours, it provides a strong accent in the garden. The flowers are also suitable for cutting and are often used in bouquets.
