The Anneke bushy aster is a stunning variety that develops a compact growth form that ideally fits onto a border edging, rock garden, or a pot. This low growing, only 20 to 30 centimetres tall perennial adorns the space around it with its erect stems that are covered with small, dark green, lanceolate leaves and hold bright pink flowers. One of the largest assets of bushy asters is their flowering period - from September to November. At that time garden colours begin to fade and a touch of bright colouring could work wonders to revive it.
