The Anouk gladiolus belongs to exceptionally decorative bicolour varieties. Its petals form large, funnel-shaped flowers that take on a pink-purple colour and are adorned with a white spot that spreads from the perianth. Flower edges are ornamentally waved what gives flowers certain lightness. The long ear-shaped clusters of flowers sit atop of a tall stem. Presented variety produces narrow, linear leaves tightly clasping at the stem. You can grow gladioli in large single-species groups, on mixed borders, and on lawns. Their slender, erect frame harmonizes with lower growing and creeping plants, such as sweet alyssum and annual candytuft. Gladioli are excellent cut flowers whose large size can be beautifully exposed in festive decorations.

Prepare borders for the enchanting gladioli on sunny situations, even though they should cope in partial shade too. You will grow the most abundant specimens in fertile, humous, permeable, non-acidic soil. Plant the corms at the end of April and in May, though some gardeners wait with planting until June. Gladioli bulbs need to be excavated, as they are not winter hardy.

One package contains 5 gladioli corms sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant growing guidelines were printed on the package label.
