Astilbe 'Bressingham Beauty' forms salmon-pink flower heads in the shape of dense plumes. They rise above a clump of compound, dark green leaves. The flowers combine shades of pink and orange, standing out clearly against the darker foliage. This plant grows exceptionally well in semi-shaded borders and in damper corners of the garden. It combines beautifully with ferns, hostas and other perennials. It can also be planted successfully by the edges of ponds or in containers on shaded terraces and balconies.
Plant the bare root from April to May.
The recommended planting depth is 5-10 cm.
Allow 50-60 cm between plants.
This variety reaches 90-100 cm.
Flowers from July to August, providing long-lasting decoration in the garden.
The plant requires winter cover, although it is fully frost hardy.
Ideal for planting in semi-shaded, moist places such as the edges of ponds and garden pools. It is also excellent for creating combinations with other astilbes, such as the burgundy 'Burgundy Red', red 'Feuer', or white 'Weisse Gloria'.
