Properties
Autumn fertiliser for conifers and other acid-loving plants is a multi-nutrient granule, in which each granule contains a complete set of nutrients. The absence of nitrogen limits excessive plant growth towards the end of the season, while the increased potassium content supports the building of resistance to winter damage. The product supports natural lignification processes and influences the proper colouration of needles, creating additional protection against frost.
Composition
Nutrient content: 10% phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5), 16% potassium oxide (K2O), 4.0% magnesium oxide (MgO). Micronutrients partially in variable amounts soluble in water: 0.02% boron (B), 0.03% copper (Cu), 0.4% iron (Fe), 0.02% zinc (Zn).
Application and feeding period
The fertiliser is intended for use under coniferous trees and shrubs as well as other acid-loving plants. The recommended application period is from August to September, when the full dose should be used, while in October half of the recommended amount should be applied.
Dosage
Coniferous trees and shrubs require a dose of 30-50 g/m². For other acid-loving plants, 30 g/m² is recommended. A 1 kg pack is enough for approximately 33 m² of area. Do not exceed the recommended amounts of fertiliser.
Directions for use
The measured dose should be spread evenly around the plant and then the granules should be mixed into the top layer of soil. After application, watering the plant is recommended to activate the nutrients contained in the fertiliser.
