Autumn fertiliser for conifers - Florovit - 1 kg is designed to prepare coniferous trees and shrubs for the winter period by improving their resistance to low temperatures and unfavourable environmental conditions. Carefully selected proportions of nutrients support shoot lignification and help stabilise the plants' water balance, which reduces the risk of frost damage. Regular use of the autumn fertiliser for conifers helps keep plants in good condition before winter arrives.
Autumn fertiliser for conifers increases plants' resistance to frost thanks to its higher potassium and phosphorus content, which strengthens tissues and supports the lignification process of shoots. The mineral components also improve water balance, allowing plants to better withstand periods of low temperatures. The presence of magnesium and iron supports the proper functioning of the assimilatory apparatus and helps maintain the good condition of needles.
EC fertiliser NPK (MgO + SO3) 4.5-8.0-27.0 (3.0 + 28.0) with iron. Total nitrogen (N) 4.5%, including ammonium nitrogen 4.5%. Phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) 8.0%, including 5.2% water-soluble. Potassium oxide (K2O) 27.0% water-soluble. Magnesium oxide (MgO) 3.0%. Sulphur trioxide (SO3) 28.0%. Total iron (Fe) 2.3%.
Autumn fertiliser for conifers is used from July to the end of September to prepare plants for winter dormancy. The product can also be applied in early spring if fertilisation was not carried out in autumn, to improve growing conditions before the start of growth. The product is intended for fertilising all species of coniferous trees and shrubs.
The recommended dose is 5 g of fertiliser per 1 metre of the height of a tree or shrub. For creeping plants, apply 5 g of fertiliser per 1 metre of the plant's diameter. One teaspoon contains about 5 g of fertiliser, while one tablespoon contains about 15 g.
Spread the fertiliser evenly around the plants over an area corresponding to the diameter of the crown, and then, if possible, mix it with the top layer of soil. In the case of columnar forms, the spreading area should be larger than the crown diameter. Regular watering after application increases the effectiveness of the fertiliser.
Autumn fertiliser for conifers supports plant product for winter and improves their condition in the next growing season. Systematic fertilisation helps keep coniferous trees and shrubs in good form throughout the year.
