Fertiliser for conifers against needle browning - Florovit - 1 kg

Florovit fertiliser for conifers against needle browning is an effective way to keep conifer trees and shrubs healthy, dense and rich green. Its formula has been developed to help prevent the most common nutrient deficiencies, especially magnesium deficiency, the lack of which leads to yellowing and drought stress of needles. Regular use of the fertiliser helps restore the plants’ beautiful colour and supports their natural resilience to unfavourable conditions.

Properties

Florovit is a comprehensive mineral fertiliser that works in multiple ways - it nourishes, strengthens and regenerates plants. The high magnesium content effectively helps prevent chlorosis, while the presence of sulphur improves nutrient uptake and supports metabolic processes. The product dissolves quickly in water, which makes it suitable for both soil and foliar application. Regular feeding contributes to the vivid colouring of the needles and helps maintain their healthy appearance throughout the season.

Composition

The fertiliser contains 16.0% water-soluble magnesium oxide (MgO) and 32.0% water-soluble sulphur trioxide (SO₃). This carefully selected composition gives plants quick access to key elements responsible for photosynthesis, vivid colouring and resilience to stress factors. Magnesium supports chlorophyll production, while sulphur strengthens tissue structure and facilitates the uptake of other nutrients from the soil.

Application and feeding period

Florovit is recommended for all conifer species, both young and mature plantings. Use of the fertiliser is recommended from March to September, especially during periods of drought or at the first signs of needle yellowing. The product may also be used for other plants exposed to magnesium deficiency. Regular fertilising helps maintain the vivid colour of the needles and helps prevent premature needle drop.

Dosage

Adjust the fertiliser dose to the height of the plants: up to 1 m - 25 g/m², 1-2 m - 50 g/m², 2-5 m - 100 g/m², 5-10 m - 150 g/m², above 10 m - 200 g/m². For pre-plant fertilising, use 25 g/m², mixing the fertiliser with a 10 cm layer of soil. For top dressing, apply 10 g/m² by sprinkling or carry out a foliar spray with a 5% solution (500 g of fertiliser per 10 litres of water), using 50-100 ml of liquid per m². In the case of a severe deficiency, repeat the foliar treatment 2-3 times at 14-day intervals.

Directions for use

Spread the recommended dose of fertiliser evenly under the canopy of trees or shrubs and lightly mix it with the top layer of soil. After application, water the plants thoroughly so that the nutrients reach the root zone faster. When using a foliar spray, prepare the solution according to the instructions and cover the needles evenly, avoiding treatment in full sun. The fertiliser can be used throughout the year depending on the plants’ needs.

Benefits of use

Regular feeding of conifers with Florovit helps prevent yellowing and browning of the needles, restoring their intense, deep colour. The fertiliser strengthens the plants, improves their resistance to drought and unfavourable weather conditions, and also supports root development and healthy growth of young shoots. Thanks to its effectiveness and high nutrient availability, it is an excellent support in the care of all species of conifer trees and shrubs.
