The Caballero canna lily is a plant that fits into virtually every garden composition. The unusual shape and colour of the flowers make it a great choice for borders, where it immediately attracts attention. It grows 60 to 85 centimetres tall. This bright green plant blooms from July to October. Canna develops an ear-shaped inflorescence atop a stiff stem that is surrounded by large oval leaves. Flowers that unfold from the bottom take on a bright yellow colour, decorated with orange or red spots. Presented variety brings an exotic touch to your garden but is not difficult to grow if you to stick to several rules. Plant this species on sunny sites that are sheltered from the wind. Fertile, rich, and soft soil suit canna lily best. It requires regular, abundant watering in summer and intensive fertilization. We recommend to regularly remove faded flowers to extend the flowering period.

All canna lilies must be dug out before the winter. Store the rhizomes with trimmed stems in rooms where temperature does not drop below freezing point. Put rhizomes into containers filled with peat or sawdust to protect them from drying out. Repeat this procedure every year. Split the overgrown rhizomes to obtain new plants to decorate gardens, terraces and balconies.

Each package contains one rhizome of the Caballero canna lily. Basic plant information and growing tips can be found on the label.
