The Candy Bar gladiolus carries white flowers with a pink blush and a raspberry pink spot inside the perianth on its stems. This variety fully deserves its name - it romantic and full of girlish charm.  The spectacular flowers that are arranged in nice ears can fit into every garden arrangement. The compact and slender growth form of the plants looks particularly good on border edges. The erect gladioli with pale flowers that sport a colourful accent present themselves well with fences or wooden pergolas in the background. The 80 to 100 centimetres tall gladioli are indispensable in bouquets and other arrangements. Stiff stems adorned with multiple flowers can be easily arranged and their sturdiness is highly satisfying.

You can expect magnificent gladioli at sunny spots where they would not be hampered by wind and rain. Plant the bulbs on carefully prepared sites where no other bulbous plants have grown before. The soil for growing gladioli should be loosened, humous and permeable. Bulb planting time starts already in mid-April when the soil has warmed up sufficiently and dried after the winter. Place the slightly flattened corms the pointed side up into 8 to 12 centimetre tall holes, about 15 centimetres apart. These large bulbs bear plants that produce huge inflorescences.  We recommend separating the bulbils that appear each year, as gladioli propagate very well from them. These bulbils can be sown in grooves like seeds to let them grow. They bear flowers after three to four years.

One package contains 50 gladioli bulbs of the presented variety. These bulbs are sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. The basic plant information and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
