The Miss Peculiar tree lily is classified as an OT hybrid. Large flowers demand immediate attention due to their funnel shaped white-yellow flowers with a charming blush at the outer side of petals. Flowers that surprise with their size and colours introduce a fairy-tale atmosphere to the flower beds and plantings alongside walls and fences. They look great next to a terrace or a place of relaxation. Flowers that slightly bend down prove to be excellent companions for hedges and low growing evergreen bushes. Combining them with roses brings excellent results. A noble border of that kind can decorate the garden at the peak of the season. The Miss Peculiar tree lily reaches height of 150 to 200 centimetres after a few seasons.

Lilies are marvellous plants that prefer sites on which their flowers can bask in the sun and their roots remain in the shade. That is why planting them with covering plants is highly recommended. This species does not require any special care. It likes fertile soil enriched with humus. Lilies cannot stand flooded soil, even though they require constant humidity to develop properly. Reaching the appropriate moisture level is the only difficulty you can face while growing lilies. Fertilize them all season long with multi-component, low-nitrogen fertilizers.  We highly recommend removing wilted flowers to stimulate the flowering even more. You do not have to excavate lily bulbs every year - this species winters well in the ground. Transplant them only after you notice reduced flowering power. If this is the case, transplant the bulbs to a new site after having it properly prepared.
