The China Rose is a shrub that grows up to 50 centimetres in height. This variety flowers continuously from June all the way up to autumn. It produces raised shoots and lovely single or double flowers in various shades of pink; they grow up to 4 centimetres broad. The China Rose plant looks exceptionally decorative at walls and fences, in flower beds, and in planters.

Growing: sow the seeds in pots or in pallet planters (half a centimetres to one centimetre deep) from March to mid-April. The seeds germinate unevenly, usually in 3 to 5 weeks. Plant the seedlings out into a permanent position from June to July. It is recommended to clip the shrub once a year, before the spring. This plant requires sunny positions and humus soils that are relatively moist.
