The Cistula tulip is a variety with lemon cream-coloured flowers. Oblong calyxes with pointed, deflecting petals in the upper part appear on slender, straight, but sturdy shoots. Bright flowers of Cistula tulip look really elegant surrounded by grey-green leaves. The magnificent flowering spectacle of this variety takes place at the turn of April and May. Those up to fifty centimetres tall beauties are versatile plants for your garden and pots. The eye-catching Cistula tulip flowers are an amazing decoration of flower beds, borders, and rock gardens. The surprising shape of the flowers will add a fresh touch to spring bouquets and decorations.
Tulip bulbs are planted exclusively in autumn, before the first frost. Find them a site with a well-drained, moderately but constantly moist soil. Tulips like the sun, but do not need to be exposed to sunlight all day long. In order for them to grow well, plant them at the appropriate depth of ten to fifteen centimetres. Set plants twelve to fifteen centimetres apart. Put tulip bulbs base down, cover with soil, and water abundantly. We recommend spreading a layer of mulch over them before the winter to protect them from frost, limit weed growth, and prevent soil from drying at the beginning of the growing season. It is not absolutely necessary, yet it definitely improves tulip development conditions.
One package contains five bulbs of the Cistula tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres. Basic plant information and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
