The Purple Dream tulip is a variety intended for gardeners that look for tall late and brightly coloured tulips. The presented, up to 55 cm tall, erect and charming lily-flowered tulip constitutes a tremendous decoration of a border centre. The saturated, bright and rather dark, crimson-purple colour of the Purple Dream tulip is additionally underscored by a creamy white dot that appears at the bottom of every calyx. The variety offered here in our store develops slender flowers with decoratively bent, adorable petals. You will enjoy them at the end of the tulip season, in May.

Sunny and wind-sheltered is how a site chosen for the cultivation of lily-flowered tulips should look like. These extremely tall varieties develop rather slender, tender stems that can hardly resist the wind. Due to its slender appearance, this tulip looks best in larger groupings of at least 9 to 12 plants. This plant provides excellent material for large, fresh bouquets. In order to diversify such a composition, we recommend to combine the Purple Dream tulips with its lily-flowered cousins, such as the red Alladin, the white Wings, the white-pink Holland Chic and the yellow-red Mona Lisa.
