Common Blanketflower, up to 75 centimetres tall, is a perennial plant with rigid branched shoots and 8 to 10 centimetres broad inflorescences in a lovely colour arrangement that includes yellow, orange, and red. Flowering from June to September a year after the seeds have been sown, Common Blanketflower is a wonderful variety for perennial beds or gardens. Due to its high decorative potential, it is also used as a cut flower.
Growing: sow the seeds in a seedbed from May to June. Plant out into the soil in 30x40cm spacings in September. The plants love sunny positions and thrive in any type of garden soil, provided that the soil is not overly moist. Each gram contains 250 to 350 seeds.
