Common yarrow Apricot Delight is a beautiful perennial whose small, salmon-coloured flowers are gathered in umbels. Slender, neat tufts look great in plantings arranged in a rural and naturalistic style. They make great figure in a rock garden and in modern gravel gardens. Yarrow produces oblong, dark green, feathery leaves that give the plant a light and delicate appearance and provide a great background for lush, umbel-shaped inflorescences appearing from June to October. Each of them consists of small, graceful, pleasantly herb-scented flowers. Use cut yarrow inflorescences in fresh and dry bouquets and other floral compositions.

Yarrow belongs to the least demanding plants. It is highly tolerant when it comes to soil, even if it grows best in moderately fertile, permeable, alkaline soil. Both sunny and partially shaded sites suit it. The darker the situation, the taller would the plants grow. Yarrow tolerates drought, but it doesn't mean it likes it. It prefers moderately moist soil. Provided with such a site, it will pay you back with generous flowering and lush green foliage. Yarrow does not require fertilization, if it does, one does yearly would do the trick. Trim faded flowers to let side shoots fill the gaps. Yarrow is a perennial plant that does not require digging. It thrives throughout Europe and comes back to life in spring rather early.

Each package contains one rhizome of the Apricot Delight common yarrow. Quick plant facts and a growing guide were printed on the packaging label.
