Common yarrow Paprika (Achillea millefolium) blooms all summer long and its flowers delight with the intense red colouring. This undemanding perennial develops stiff, erect stems that grow up to 80 cm tall. Long stalks that end with a large, flat, umbel-like inflorescence appear from June to September over the rosettes of dark green leaves. These flower heads are filled with tiny red blooms with yellow centres. Common yarrow Paprika is a great proposal for sunny, naturalistic borders, rock gardens and even for planting in containers.
Common yarrow grow well in almost every kind of soil, but light, permeable and moderately fertile soils work best. Rhizomes may be planted in the ground all spring long. Choose sunny sites. Remove wilted inflorescences in order to prolong the flowering period. This plant is completely frost-resistant and winters well in the ground without any detriment to the plant.
There is 10 piece of the Paprika red common yarrow rootstock in every package. Each package contains the essential growing instructions.
