The Corcovado tree lily is a perennial flowering plant whose blooms take on a yellow-apricot shade. Resistant to disease and frost, this tree lily is a hybrid of an oriental and trumpet lily. From its ancestors, it has inherited scented flowers and sturdy, tall stems. The Corcovado variety offered here fits onto back part of flower beds, alongside walls, and fences. A stiff, strong shoot topped with a bunch of magnificent flowers can attract attention to a any chosen point in the garden. Magnificent, cup-shaped flowers with tongue-shaped petals with slightly wavy edges, give the plant a unique appearance. Corcovado lily is worth planting in a larger group, allowing you to cut a few stems for a bouquet without damaging the carefully planned garden arrangement.

Tree lily grows at the same place for several years, flowering abundantly every year. To let the plant fulfil that promise, provide it with an appropriate site and care. Put lily bulbs into humus-rich and well-drained soil at a bright spot. Mulch the site, systematically fertilize with multi-component preparations, remove withering flowers. Transplant the bulb to a new, more fertile situation every three to four years. Do not excavate bulbs in autumn as they can safely winter in soil.

Each package contains one bulb of the Corcovado tree lily, sized 18/20 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
