Prunella is a perennial plant that grows 15 to 25 centimetres in height; it produces reclining shoots with glamorous round multi-coloured inflorescences. The plant flowers from mid-June to late September. Prunella is an excellent variety for rockeries and containers; due to its size and form, it is very often used a cover plant.

Growing: sow the seeds under cover from April to May. Plant out into a permanent position in 20-25cm spacings from July to August. The plants grow best in sunny or semi-shaded positions in fairly fertile soils. This variety is perfect for rockeries, flower containers as well as for covering objects and surfaces.
